Position Overview:
As a Social Media Manager at Green Mountain Tech, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our audience. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, foster community engagement, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our company objectives and drives brand awareness.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and posts, fostering strong relationships with our followers.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and branding.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our digital presence.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for engagement and return on investment.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement across social media platforms.
- Develop a content calendar that outlines key campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely and relevant communications to our audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in social media management or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Experience with social media advertising, analytics, and tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and engaging content creation.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and approaches to digital marketing.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- Prior experience in the tech industry is preferred but not mandatory.
